Creating a safer jobsite in Australia and New Zealand with Equipment Management
Two years after opening Procore’s first international office in Sydney, we are excited to announce another milestone –the launch of our first product built specifically for the Australia and New Zealand construction industry, Equipment Management.
The release of Equipment Management represents our focus on building solutions to meet the needs of construction professionals around the globe. This first product release for customers in Australia and New Zealand is focused on the safety aspects of managing heavy equipment onsite and helps builders perform the plant (otherwise known as equipment) induction process to ensure all equipment on site is safe and fit for purpose.
How Equipment Management can make your jobsite safer.
When it comes to safety, plant can be one of the major risks on any jobsite. In Australia, 1 in 4 fatalities related to construction work are caused by equipment and vehicles.
Equipment Management assists in ensuring all plant on site is safe and fit for purpose through:
- Enabling Health Safety Environment and Site teams with faster and easier plant inductions and inspections.
- Giving office and site teams real-time visibility of equipment across projects.
- Developing processes that help achieve safety compliance.
"When there’s a ton of things going on at once, this simplifies the plant induction process for my team. It’s just easier and saves time. I feel good knowing all of our plant has been taken care of and the information is easily accessible," says Michael Plunkett, Project Manager at Pellicano Builders Pty.
