Driving Sustainable Change, Advancing the Industry and Combating the Labor Shortage: Procore Recognized by TrustRadius
Procore is honored to receive the Tech Cares Award from TrustRadius for the second consecutive year. People are at the heart of everything we do, and this distinction celebrates Procore’s commitment to improving the lives of everyone in construction through diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, sustainability, innovation, education and more.
Now in its third year, the TrustRadius Tech Cares Award recognizes companies that go above and beyond to provide impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) worldwide to their employees and surrounding communities.
“We work tirelessly to foster a positive workplace culture that supports a diverse group of remote and in-office employees at TrustRadius. Tech leaders throughout the industry are embracing similar corporate social responsibility initiatives, and we’re excited to give them the recognition they deserve with a Tech Cares Award,” said TrustRadius Founder and CEO Vinay Bhagat. “We believe corporate social responsibility will continue to become more important each year for employees, customers, and stakeholders.”
The industry has demonstrated incredible resilience and adaptability amid a pandemic and shifting world landscape. Through it all, Procore remains committed to finding new ways to support our industry, communities, environment and employees.
Driving sustainable change through diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB)
We’re committed to creating a future that empowers our employees, customers and industry stakeholders to thrive. Our evolved strategy is based on co-creation, accountability and ownership with a focus on embedding DEIB into everything that we do. Our three-pronged strategy focuses on hiring inclusively, creating a culture of learning and evolving our partner ecosystem through industry outreach efforts. We’re taking steps to amplify the voices of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to drive impact, co-create an inclusive culture grounded in diversity and belonging and integrate learning experiences into the flow of work. We’re also building a connected ecosystem of industry leaders to inspire meaningful dialogue and drive sustainable change. We know that while our needs and responsibilities may be differentiated, our work will always be global and universal.
Advancing the industry through advocacy, education and technology
Procore.org, the social impact arm of Procore, offers programs that provide unique value to the single industry we serve—construction. This includes on-demand certified continuing education courses, construction management curriculum, and in-kind donation of software and end-user support to over 500 non-profit builders, educational institutions and training centers. Procore’s investment in DEIB extends through Procore.org’s Women in Construction (WIC) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise programs, which are committed to providing tools and resources to support a more diverse workforce in construction.
Combating the labor shortage
Procore.org works in partnership with the construction industry to address the challenges of workforce development and the labor shortage head-on. We’re helping to ensure that today’s workforce is prepared to operate on a modern jobsite through free access to our software and curriculum to educators who are preparing the next generation of construction professionals and trade union training centers that are upskilling the field. Procore’s construction education and global partnerships teams have also partnered with the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) to deliver virtual training curriculum, allowing the AGC and Procore to reach more learners by lowering cost and geographic barriers.
While over 85% of accredited construction management programs in the US use Procore, we’ve expanded our offerings to introduce students to a career in construction at the high school level, through our partners ACE Mentor, NCCER and Build California. We’ve also invested in our commitment to creating opportunities for underrepresented talent by partnering with AGC’s Education Research Foundation to raise over half a million dollars in scholarships for students studying construction at historically Black colleges and universities.
This honor from TrustRadius would not be possible without our customers, partners and employees that do so much to support the construction industry’s advancement. Thank you!
