Mike Rowe Returns to Keynote Groundbreak 2019
Mike Rowe, creator and host of Discovery’s hit TV show Dirty Jobs, will be joining us as a keynote speaker at Groundbreak 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona! He is an incredible champion of the Procore values, which is why we’ve invited Mike back to keynote for the second time.
Not only is Mike Rowe a talented TV personality, but he is also passionate about construction, skilled labor, and career options outside the “glorified corner office job”––and so is Procore. Mike addresses the widening skills gap and questions the persistent belief that a four-year degree is always the best path to take. He challenges the status quo through the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, which provides scholarships to students pursuing careers in the skilled trades.
With the widening skills gap, we believe it’s important to provide resources to students interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry. Through the work of Procore.org, our social impact organization, educational institutions receive Procore's software, implementation, and support free of charge to help serve their missions by educating construction professionals.
Please join Mike Rowe and thousands of your industry peers at Groundbreak where we will:
- Network: Meet over 4,000 attendees including peers from design, accounting, project, executive, and field teams––with an expected 25% representing top ENR companies.
- Learn: We've asked experts from top companies around the globe to take the stage, tell their stories, and share their expertise in teamwork, leadership, and strategies for success.
- Innovate: Work alongside over 100 engineers and developers to help us discover new solutions to old problems. You'll have the opportunity to test never-before-seen tools, give your feedback, and submit your own ideas.
