New Car, New Driver, Same Partners - NASCAR 2019
The 2019 NASCAR season is ramping up and we could not be more excited to see our car on the track again. This year brings some exciting changes. Leavine Family Racing has outfitted our vehicle with a Toyota engine to create the Procore NASCAR. This season we will also be introducing a new driver, Matt DiBenedetto who will take No. 95 to the raceway at Daytona next Sunday, February 17.
This year’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series marks the fifth year DiBenedetto will be racing in the series. Procore is looking forward to being represented by DiBenedetto and we are excited to see how he commands the raceway.
DiBenedetto first began his racing career in 2009, when he was recruited to be a developmental driver for Joe Gibbs Racing.
“His rookie season at NASCAR’s top tier found him making 33 starts as he completed 97.2% of his attempted laps. His best run that rookie year was an 18th-place finish at Talladega,” According to Leavine Family Racing. Eventually, in 2018, DiBenedetto came to finish seventh place at the Daytona International Speedway. In light of the success throughout his racing career, we expect nothing less than a phenomenal race season with DiBenedetto.
We will also be joined by a new crew chief so fittingly named, Mike Wheeler, “Wheels” for short. Wheels previously worked with the Joe Gibbs Racing crew and has been a part of NASCAR since 2002. He was promoted to an engineer in the Cup series from 2005-2014. We are lucky to have him as part of the No. 95 crew.
The first race of the season, Daytona 500, will take place Sunday, February 17. You’re not going to want to miss this, so be sure to tune in!
Want to follow closely along and get access to behind the scenes footage of the race? Join our No. 95 Crew for updates all season long. Being part of the crew will give you access to video footage from the pit, updates on race giveaways, a free collectible Matt DiBenedetto 95 hero card and more.
