Our New Home In A Land Down Under. Hello Procore Sydney

Earlier this month, a group of Procore employees based in Carpinteria packed their bags, sublet their apartments, and took off for Australia to open up Procore’s first international office located in Sydney’s CBD. We couldn’t be more excited to expand our footprint in APAC and work with the construction industry throughout the region.

We first began exploring the idea of opening an office in Australia in 2015, as it has a similar construction market to the United States – language, processes and construction needs. For a period of time, a dedicated group of employees based in Carpinteria completely flipped their work and sleep schedules to ensure our clients in the Australian market could connect with the Procore team during their workdays. What we quickly saw was a construction market that was cloud friendly and forward thinking.

Procore’s expansion into Australia is in response to strong demand from local clients and other businesses across the construction industry for flexible solutions that will enable them to reduce costs, improve safety, and deliver projects within budget and on time.

Our Sydney office is currently comprised of Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams who are working with more than 100 of our Australian clients and over 50,000 users. While employees from our Carpinteria campus moved to Australia to open the new office we’ve already begun hiring local talent and will be expanding our headcount throughout the year.

We look forward to growing with our current clients in Australia and New Zealand, and working with new Procore users that share our vision of modernizing construction so that we can continue to help the industry build safely, on time, and within budget.

Procore will expand further into the international market in 2017, with planned office locations in Canada.
