Procore and Travelers expand collaboration to reduce construction project risk

In July 2020, Procore and Travelers announced a collaboration to help contractors manage the total cost of risk through improved operations and jobsite safety. The agreement underscored the value that the construction insurance industry sees in technology for improving risk management.

Today we are extending the reach of that value by working with Travelers to expand the number of eligible states where Travelers construction insurance customers can purchase one-year of Procore software at a 20% discount.

“Procore’s platform can help contractors avoid many costly losses and delays through effective risk management and cross-team collaboration,” said Lisa Morgan, President of Construction at Travelers.

Having immediate visibility into a project and any potential jobsite exposures provides greater accountability, awareness of worker safety, and clarity when things go wrong. The use of technology to manage the growing complexity of construction projects is also creating access to better information through the availability of real-time data which is starting to change the way insurance companies think about risk management.

By teaming up with Travelers, we are helping the construction industry improve productivity, reduce losses and protect companies.

“Risk mitigation and employee safety will always be a top priority for Legacy Mechanical, and the partnership between Procore and Travelers Insurance gives our company the confidence to know that we’ve made the right investments in technology and coverage to continue running an effective and safe business for years to come.” – Scott Krum, President, Legacy Mechanical, Inc.
