Building the Future Workforce Keynote

Groundbreak Day 2 kicked off with an industry panel discussing the labor shortage, an ongoing challenge facing construction businesses all over the world.  Featuring notable Procore customers and partners including Webcor, Performance Contracting Inc., and ConstructReach, the panel stressed the importance of proactively creating solutions rather than waiting for them, highlighting the role workforce development and technology play in attracting and retaining talent.

The first day of Groundbreak buzzed with energy, as attendees built meaningful connections, uncovered valuable industry insights, and drew inspiration from luminary industry and keynote speakers.

How Procore is Transforming the Construction Industry

Founder, President, and CEO Tooey Courtemanche and Chief Product Officer Wyatt Jenkins unveiled Procore’s newest product announcements to kick off the first day of Groundbreak.

Procore stands alone as the only technology platform exclusively dedicated to the construction industry. For more than 20 years, Procore has pioneered purpose-built solutions that empower operations and ensure safety at the jobsite.

To tackle our industry’s most pressing challenges, Procore introduced a series of new solutions designed to improve project management and create a safer work environment, including:

  • Resource Management – This new product category enables contractors to manage labor, equipment, and materials in a unified, intelligent offering across the entire build lifecycle To accelerate this capability, Procore has acquired Intelliwave Technologies, a leading industry provider of intelligent materials management software.
  • Scheduling – Procore announced Scheduling, a new AI-powered tool that integrates with contract schedules and field data, flagging risks to keep projects on time and within budget.
  • Safety – A significant expansion of Procore’s Safety solution centralizes key tasks like pre-task plans, hazard analysis, and certifications – integrating with project tools and wearables to reduce overhead and help ensure that everyone in construction returns home safely every day.
  • Procore Artificial Intelligence (AI) Procore AI, built on Procore’s unified, intelligent platform, is powered by Procore Agents, Insights, and Copilot. With Procore AI, customers can transform how teams collaborate, forecast, and execute projects.
    • Agents – Procore Agents will use AI to automate tasks, streamline processes like RFIs and scheduling, and reduce workloads across the entire project lifecycle.
    • Agents Studio – Agents Studio will let users customize AI-driven agents without coding, replacing manual processes with tailored automation for greater efficiency. 
    • Insights – Procore Insights helps users assess project risks, predict challenges, and provide recommendations to improve outcomes using data.
    • Procore Copilot – Now available globally, Procore Copilot enables users to quickly access key documents, summarize content, and gain data-driven insights, saving time and boosting productivity on jobsites.

Keeping the momentum going, we’re also excited to launch Spatial Viewer, AR on BIM, and Asset in the coming months.

CEO & Founder of HearsDustin, Dustin Giannelli shared resources to support hearing differences, preventative measures, and personal experiences as a member of the deaf community.

Emmitt Smith Keynote 

Football Hall of Fame legend Emmitt Smith wrapped up the first day of Groundbreak with an inspiring keynote. He shared his perspective on the power of connection, the importance of teamwork, and the determination needed to pursue and achieve your goals.
