As we now know, the COVID-19’s impact on construction and our lives will likely last more than a few months. From the start, the key priority for specialty contractors, naturally, has been the safety and well-being of all employees. As we prepare to make the shift from triage to long-term business continuity, Procore is teaming up with the American Subcontractors Association (ASA) and is proud to kick off a new partnership.
The collaboration offers exclusive discounts to association members on Procore’s platform through the ASAdvantage affinity program. Our hope is that this will make digital solutions more accessible to teams that are beginning to analyze the full scope of what their people need to be safe and successful.
Our mission is to connect everyone in construction on a global platform —general and specialty contractors alike. With social distancing policies adding a new layer of complexity to projects, Procore is helping empower ASA members to reap the benefits of digital solutions that make safe, productive, and profitable transitions into a post-pandemic world possible.
One of the most exciting aspects of our partnership with ASA is how it will help better meet the challenges facing specialty contractors. When Procore was founded it focused primarily on general contractors, and we have since expanded our product offering to meet the specific goals and needs of specialty contractors working in the field. Procore can help ASA members streamline their work by better managing labor, improving field-to-office communication, simplifying change management, increasing productivity, and reducing rework.
"After reviewing Procore's subcontractor platform, we are extremely excited to begin this collaborative relationship. Our members can now arm themselves with the ability to manage labor, simplify their change orders and stay profitable, from anywhere.” – Richard Bright, Chief Operating Officer, American Subcontractors Association
As the global pandemic expedites construction’s digital transformation, Procore takes pride in seeking input about what builders need to continue safely growing and serving their communities. In past months, we built and released a COVID-19 online resource center, a new video conferencing integration with Zoom, a Construction Activity Index, and product enhancements that align with new safety and inspections best practices.
