Procore welcomes Sasha Reed as Director of Industry Advancement for Procore.org
We launched Procore.org just over two years ago with a mission to empower the construction industry and the communities it serves. As we continue to invest in the advancement of the construction industry, we’re thrilled to welcome Sasha Reed to Procore where she will oversee Procore.org as Director of Industry Advancement.
What began as an employee-driven passion project has grown into an organization that partners with some of the most respected names in construction, education, and nonprofits. Procore.org currently works with hundreds of schools, nonprofit and charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Team Rubicon, and Purple Heart Homes, and trade organizations to upskill the future workforce on the latest construction technology.
In the role, Sasha will be responsible for expanding the reach and impact of Procore.org and its programs which include Continuing Education, inclusion and diversity, educational outreach, and nonprofit partnerships.
Sasha is well-known in the construction industry, having spent 12 years on the senior leadership team at Bluebeam, taking the company from a startup to being successfully acquired and through its transition to new executive leadership. She brings a wealth of experience building programs aimed at advancing digital literacy throughout construction.
"I'm honored to be part of the Procore team, delivering the necessary building blocks for construction to reinvent itself in the digital age. Leading the efforts of Procore.org is the fulfillment of a long-time passion project; to help build the future construction workforce, champion for inclusive company culture, while upskilling the digital literacy of craftspeople in the trades." – Sasha Reed, Director of Industry Advancement, Procore.org
Sasha co-founded the Construction Progress Coalition, was the Secretary to the National Institute of Building Sciences buildingSMART's Board of Direction, and host of the Shared Pains podcast. She will host a fireside chat at Groundbreak with former Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe, and ENR Award of Excellence winner, Vicki O’Leary, General Organizer for Safety and Diversity at the International Ironworkers Union.
Procore.org recently launched a new website and announced new free continuing education course series for Building Inclusion, designed to equip companies and individuals with the tools to build inclusive, productive, and profitable workplaces. Those who pre-register for the courses before August 31st will be automatically entered to win two tickets to Groundbreak.
